Kristin played Sarah (as well as flute, sax and piccolo) in the Tony award winning musical "Company". In addition to the Tony award this Broadway revival won a Drama Desk, Outer Critics Circle, and Drama League Award for Best Revival of a Musical. The production was filmed and aired on PBS's Great Performances
While continuing to perform, Kristin also founded The New Paradigm Theatre-- a 501(c)(3) nonprofit theatre promoting social responsibility and fostering creative problem solvers, leaders, and global citizens through theatre arts education and productions in 2012.
She is the Artistic Director.
Being a former Miss Ohio and Runner-Up to Miss America was a bit of a finishing school for this athlete and performer. The Miss America program has begun updating its image with powerful women in charge and Kristin learned much about how PR and branding are important in the world of Entertainment.
Her "platform" issue of drawing more attention and volunteers to altruistic endeavors and organizations has carried on
throughout her life.
While Kristin is all three things-- Performer, Producer and Professor-- it is her teaching, with over 35 years of experience in private voice lessons and masterclasses, that reflects who she really is at heart.
Her goal is to teach people much more than just how to sing.
